Original Title: 'Sorting HELP!!' I had a previous version for my pc but I switched to a mac and on the excel 2011 I was trying to create a custom sort for my movies.

In Mac Excel (2011 and lower) you can search on up to three criteria. Assume the row starting A1 are you column headers just for simplicity lets say there are 3 Columns • Title (A) Description(B) Date Purchased(C). • click on B1 to select first cell. • now scroll to end of List • hold shift key down and select the last item in column C • Next go to sort and select: Title as first item to sort by Description as second item to sort by Date Purchased as Third item to sort by • Then do sort. Then in the harry potter rows the will be sorted according to description (could be episode), then when purchased.
