It connects to Office 365, Microsoft Exchange, Gmail, iCloud or any other IMAP-compatible server or services directly. The app takes copies of inbound and outbound emails from Selected Folders, typically INBOX and SENT. These emails are analyzed in the Match My Email cloud for matching attributes. When an attribute in an email matches an attribute(s) in a Salesforce record(s), the email is uploaded to the Salesforce record(s). Match My Email matches emails automatically to standard Sales Cloud records by full email address – Leads, Contacts, Accounts, Opportunities, and Cases.

It can be customized to match emails to custom records and fields by full email address, roll-up, domain name, word(s) or number(s) in the Subject Line and/or body tags. It connects directly to the user’s email account in the cloud. Then it imports copies of emails from selected folders like INBOX and SENT ITEMS and processes them for relevance in the Match My Email cloud. When the app finds a match between an email and a record in Salesforce, it uploads a copy of the email to the right Salesforce record(s).

Match My Email is a MultiMatch app. It matches emails to multiple Contacts at once. Outlook add-ons only sync emails to one Contact at a time and they require the click of a button for each match to occur. Match My Email works seamlessly with every on-premise and hosted Exchange server. Match My Email works with any version of Outlook connected to any IMAP email service.

Major IMAP email service providers are Gmail, GoDaddy, Rackspace, Yahoo, Hotmail, AOL, dotster, Hostgator, Bluehost, Open-Xchange and many others. Match My Email even enables Outlook ‘lovers’ to continue to use their favorite email client if their company switches to Google technology. Match My Email works with in-house Exchange servers. Match My Email accesses the Exchange server via its secure IMAP port and extracts copies of emails for processing and matching to Salesforce in the cloud.
